I have shot various families make ups. Married no kids, married with children, children, people’s and pets. This time around, it was my first engagement photoshoot with a man, woman and show horse!
Meet Lisa, Brad and Avorah.
Avorah is a beautiful show horse who has been in a number of competitions and was definitely one of the most agreeable models I’ve had in front of my camera! What an experience.
AV, is what she’s affectionately known as, pranced around and displayed her good side during her owner’s shoot, nearly stealing the show!
I thought that I would be a lot more nervous being close to such a large animal. But to be honest, she made me feel at home! Like a good model should! My only experiences with horses in person have been seeing Police horses in downtown Toronto and riding a pony as a 10 year old.
Back to the couple. Lisa and Brad will be married later this year and I can’t wait to shoot it. I say that because they are so much fun to shoot. They laughed a lot, smiled even more and looked great! Too bad Avorah will not be walking Lisa down the aisle. That would make this the best wedding ever.
