I thank the good Lord as much as I can for my daughters.
There is absolutely nothing better than rescuing them when they are scared, hearing their excited voices when they NEED to tell me something or hearing “Daddy, you’re the BEST!”.
I simply feel sad for broken families that have an absent Father, or part time Dads. I couldn’t imagine not being woken up far too early every morning, not being asked 1 million questions or being asked to be a choo-choo train “one more time” on a regular basis. Fix your relationship with your children if you’ve been absent. It means the world to them!
Being my girls’ primary male role model is a big responsibility and I take it seriously. I discipline, explain difficult situations as best as I can and make sure they are happy.
There is not greater joy, than fatherhood.
